“Somersby” – named purely because I was drinking Somersby cider during the finishing stages! Many thanks to Narko Tick for the reference photo.  The scientific name for this gorgeous fellow is “menemerus semilimbatus”. He is from the salticadae family, measures approx 6.5 – 8.4 mm in length, and lives in Europe, Asia, Africa, Sth America, and USA. Usually found on walls of buildings where it stalks its prey. This watercolour painting was painting on 300 gsm cold pressed artist quality paper, and measures 21 cm x 30 cm (which includes an off-white mount measuring 3.5 cm on each side). Made with vegan and environmentally friendly watercolour paints, brushes, and paper, and a whole lot of love!
